Help what is wrong?

Just finished building my computer was installing windows xp and this came up
what has happened and what should I do?

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 460 OC 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Intel Core i5 760 2.80GHz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156)
Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9)
Gigabyte GA-P55-UD5 iP55

You using a full copy of XP or an 'upgrade' copy?

full copy. The screen came up after I booted it from the hd

Would it be the sofware making this happen because I'm using a old xp cd which is slightly damaged or is it the hardware. Im getting windows 7 on sunday so I could wait till then

Give windows 7 a try then, also in future if you get any bluescreens try googling for the last part of the error code (0x8051aa58 in this case) and you might find some people posting solutions to the same problem.

First thing id check is that your RAM is set to the correct voltages and speeds in your BIOS.

I think its because some of my hardware is not xp compatible
