Hi i currently own a dell 2209 22 inch ips screen but i'm looking to upgrade.
I do a lot of photo work and like the IPS but i also game quite a bit battlefield and the crew.
Can anyone recommend a good screen really prefer to stick with IPS panels but i'm open to suggestions.24 inch to 26 inch is about as high as i can go and i don't have a massive budget £180 ish.
Thanks in advance.

Are you able to stretch to £199 + shipping?

YOUR BASKET
1 x LG Flatron 25UM65-P 25" WideScreen Super-Wide LED Monitor £199.99
Total : £209.59 (includes shipping : £8.00).

If not, I just got this one for my wife's mother, and it looked absolutely fine when I set it up for her.

YOUR BASKET
1 x LG 22MP65HQ-P 22" LED IPS HDMI Monitor - Black £109.99
Total : £119.59 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Only a resolution upgrade from your current panel, so I'd strongly consider saving up for at least the Ultrawide (But not all games support it 21:9) or a 2560x1440 panel (From £280) so you have a really noticable upgrade.
Most people who appreciate IPS get disappointed going back to TN, so not sure that would be recommendable in your case.

AOC i2369vm - IPS, cheap, has 2.2 gamma, great colours and greyscale when calibrated. Good response times for IPS, under 5ms input lag for gaming. Only downside is PWM back
Lighting with can be circumvented by maxing the backlight if you wish to. It has hdmi, displayport etc, see review https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/aoc-i2369vm/

Another monitor i got recently for console gaming Samsung s24d300hs is very cheap but is TN 24". As long as you look dead on it is great for TN. 2.2 - 2.4 gamma, flat greyscale and accurate colours, great response times for TN and under 5ms input lag. No PWM backlighting. Only has hdmi and vga so you need to use hdmi range low on the monitor using nvidia or do the usual workarounds instead. No backlight bleed at all. The only downside is that it has no speakers or a headphone out. You have to plug sound direct from the PC to speakers or headphones into the PC.

Both monitors have only tilt adjust but are really great, very cheap quality 1080p options. The Sammy was £120 recently but is probably cheaper somewhere and the Aoc was £130 again not sure if it's cheaper now.
