Little guy isn't gonna hurt you, do an Australian accent and pick him up with some sticks. Then jam your thumb in it's ass to **** it off.
In all seriousness though, that's a grass snake, they might bite but it won't be poisonous. Majestic creatures, absolutely love snakes.
Used to have one which I saw from time to time in the garden who I named Monty, or perhaps there was a nest of them closeby and I named multiple snakes Monty.
