Help which way do the wires go round ??

It's a HP ze2000 which took apart to replace the fan... help !

black is main hence the brown sleveing over the black wire (if that brown thing is sleving, but im sure black is main)

Grey is main and black is Aux

I've seen a couple of these connected this way.

Black main, grey aux.

In future note these things before taking stuff apart

Just try it, you won't do any harm if you get it wrong you may get a weaker signal and can then just swap them over.

Like I say ones I've seen if memory serves me correctly had grey to main. It may have been connected wrong to start with for all I know though.

Aye, note things down, or do my fail safe plan - take pictures before you take each part out if your not too sure XD
