Help ! - Why do I always have bad luck with overclocking !?

Well, Just bought that cooler that was suggested by thefishdude, and got some AS5 too. £15.71, not bad.

yeah its a good cheap cooler. when you get it do a before and after temp thing at same cpu settings so can compare *** its like. iwill be interesting to see how much it goes down :)

I'll do a before n after :), Will have to see if my £7.04 was well spent.

Just been thinking, I've still got a E6300 kicking about, wondering if I should stick that in and have a play with the new overclocking skills I've learnt in this thread. :D ( After I've got the new cooler and checked how the E2160 performs)

!! definitely, it's a better chip than the e2160! Hopefully get a e6300 to 3.3GHz with a bit of luck

i thought Id ask in here instead of making a new thread, I am thinking of starting up another system i have thats just doing nothing, thing is Ive used the power supply in there for my current system, but i do have this

would that be good enough for overclocking with a P5N-E SLI and a E6300/E2160 ? The psu is about 3 years old, is it a good powersupply, I paid enough for it when I got it ! should be ok I rechon, but want to check by the experts !

EDIT: Forgot Im gonna need a cheap PCIe gfx card too, was thinking of the 8600GT, or anyone got a better deal maybe ? I would buy second hand too for around the same price.

I know this has gone off topic, but I prefer to keep it in here, cause they only small quick questions !

Thx

Check MM, there are normally lots for sale and I have seen x1900xt go for £25 and hd 3850 sell for £50 recently.
