Help Windows 8 running in safe mode...

And I cannot figure why?
Nothing installed for days
not overclocked
device manager is normal

how can I start in normal mode?

This might work ... or not.

Windows Key & R - To get the Run Command up.
Type MSCONFIG and hit Return
In the "Boot" tab, make sure "Safe Boot" isn't ticked/checked.
Then hit OK and reboot.

If you ever need to go back into Safe Mode, just tick/check the box and after you've rebooted you'll be in Safe Mode.
Pressing f8 during the boot doesn't work like previous version of Windows.
You can try pressing Shift and f8 instead, that is supposed to work, but, doesn't work for me.
So I use the MSCONFIG route.

Thanks for that. It didn't work. I did not understand why this happened. In the end I did a restore from acronis from the 07/11/12 so didn't lose nothing. It was just strange...
