Okay, so first of all I can't install a couple updates for windows, they always fail and I have tried to find solutions online, so now I turn to you guys (or girls).

these are the two updates - http://imgur.com/tEIUG
and their errors - http://imgur.com/gKKyl
I have googled these errors and tried fixes, they dont work.

I also get this http://imgur.com/jVIat when I try to upgrade or uninstall MSE.

Can anyone tell me whats going on and how to fix it?

Thanks in advance,
Sam.

Well looking up the 645 error returns mention of a damaged NET framework:

That's for Vista (I'm assuming your on Win 7 although visually the two are very similar) but worth trying. Before googling I suspected the Windows Installer which often seems to 'break'.

On your third screenshot, you know that you are able to browse for the file? Might be possible to do search for epp.msi or download the update manually.

Did you try the .NET Framework thing? Sounds like something has become corrupted. It's probably either .NET or the Windows Installer. But the Windows Installer would also prevent you from installing any program which comes with a .msi installer, so if other stuff installs fine I'd look at .NET first.

yeah I've tried the solution for every .Net I can find, also installed framework 4 ( Don't know if it helped)
still those 2 updates cant update and I cant reinstall MSE
