Hey,

My Aego M speakers came about 20 minutes ago and I'm having real trouble wiring them up. There are so many cables and most of them have bear ends!! The manual is rubbish and just tells you the product specs and warranty. My Logitech X-230's were simple to set up but these appear to be much more technical. Can anyone tell me hows its done?

Many Thanks!!

They're really quite simple to be honest. Give me a minute or two, I'll take some pictures.

Edit: Picture. Should be able to figure it out from this. (Ignore my messy cables. I need to sort that out)

Ok its done now I didn't realise i'd have to put in some bare wires! They are a bit more complicated then my old speakers, I hope they sound much better!

Thanks though!

Hope you like them. Mine sounded a little weak for the first 15-30 minutes.. after which they started sounding wonderful.

Be sure to fiddle with your EQ's a little to get them perfect. They're surprisingly good speakers for being so small.

Ok, I've just taken delivery of these beauties too and I have a question that is really stupid!

Is the port on the front of the sub a headphone port?

And if so, why does mine not work?

Its an Aux in from what I can tell mate. You can plug your MP3's, Phones etc using the supplied cable and thus listen to your music through the Aego M's. It has no headphone socket that I am aware of.

And damn these speakers sound good!

You are correct.

Inputs:
3 x RCA Phono - Line level
1 x Stereo Mini jack - Line level

and yes, they sound damn good. I always find it funny when people come over and ask if that sound is coming out of those tiny speakers.

The lack of a headphone jack is really the only problem I have with them. Bit of a pain having to reach around to the back of my case and swap cables.
