Help with 1st gaming pc

Hi I am buying a gaming pc for my son but am so confused with all the options, like the processor and cores the video card the memory and so on could somebody give me an honest opinion and advice pro buy a something that can handle all the games ect.... when looking on line nearly every company says it can run pretty much everything but for only £500 so if that's the case what do ones fir £2000 do, please help, many thanks

If you want a complete PC, from scratch, that can handle all the games, you need to spend between £1500 and £2000, approx

Would that have to include everything including monitor etc, or do you have some parts already ready?
(and if you have monitor ready what 's the model)
Also would you need it you need it assembled?

In graphics cards you don't get future proofness no matter how ludicrous overprice you pay.
Performance per price just goes more into free fall the more expensive card you get.
