Help with £2000 gaming rig build

Oh yeh.... I have the steelseries Siberia 7.1 wireless headset and creative T20 2.0 speakers. Is there anyway to set them up so they both work at same time? With headset giving 7.1 and speakers giving 2.0? I'm guessing I'll be needing a sound card... doesn't matter if not possible.

I'm in the process of doing mine for roughly the same price...well just a bit less than £2000. Over the past few weeks I've sort of narrowed it down to the following. You might like this setup or you could tweak it. Let me know your thoughts please. You might find something better than i do.

The Graphics card comes with a free Gold power supply by the way. Obviously you need to remove the OS. ssd and hdd if you dont need that.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,550.73
(includes shipping: £0.00)

This is the thing, I know nothing about what's good/bad, compatible/incompatible & bottleknecking etc. All I know is how to plug things in and install software xD

If I remove the things I don't from your list I get the price down to £1,268.81. That's £732 under my budget. Plus I'd prefer not to have a water cooler unless it was strongly recommended.

I know what you mean by building your first rig, but if you look at the step by step guide thats posted at the top of the forum.... the sticky.... then its pretty much simple.

Most of the items like motherboard are the ones that are highly rated in all the other topics in hardware.

The water cooler posted is not what you think. Its basically a plug and play. No maintenance. Its all one piece. You just forget about it and let it do its job.

It's not my first build :P
i know what you mean about the parts, but £700 seems a bit far under my budget. Surely I could get a few things upgraded from your list?
If I don't need to do any maintenance on the cooler then that's great :D

That Gigabyte board is available as part of a bundle which works out a bit cheaper.

I would also go with a non reference gpu as the founders edition cards run a bit hotter/louder. Something like the Gigabyte G1.

For the psu I would look at the SuperFlower Leadex, EVGA G2 or Corsair RMx. The EVGA GQ and SuperFlower Golden Green are also a good units if you want something cheaper.

Gaming Rig - £2000 budget

Hi guys.
I was wondering if any of you genius' would be able to recommend the components to build me a gaming rig worth around £2000.
I can build the PC myself, but no clue in regards to what parts are compatible with others, bottle necking, etc.

I mainly use the pc for gaming. Would prefer PC to run as quiet as possible if it doesn't impact performance too much. Performance is more important than the noise level ofc.

Also, I have the steelseries Siberia 7.1 wireless headset and creative T20 2.0 speakers. Is there anyway to set them up so they both work at same time? With headset giving 7.1 and speakers giving 2.0? I'm guessing I'll be needing a sound card... doesn't matter if not possible.

What I don't need:
- mouse/keyboard
- speakers
- OS
- SSD (I currently have a 120GB which I use purely for OS. Maybe I could get a bigger one for my games to run off, just checked my steam folder which is currently stored on my 2TB HDD and I've got 380GB worth of games stored in their)
- HDD
- monitor (well I've got a BenQ GL2450 https://www.overclockers.co.uk/benq...n-widescreen-led-monitor-black-mo-057-bq.html which i'm willing to upgrade if highly recommended and will make a worthwhile difference)

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :D
