Hi all

I'm trying out folding 24/7 on my desktop, I just have a few questions. (My FAH username is philip.turner87)

I tried to set my team number to 10 which worked for the GPU client, but apparently not for the SMP client. For the SMP I changed the team number in the config file but it was overwritten to 0 when it finished the work unit. Is there a way I can change the team number without losing the work done on the current work unit?

Am I doing the right thing to get the most out of my system, by running the GPU and SMP clients? I'm seeing 100% CPU usage in task manager, and a steady 99% GPU load in GPU-Z. However, the GPU fan is only running at about half speed so I'm not sure if there's something I can do to increase the performance of the GPU client.

And here's my system specs if they will be useful to know:

AMD Phenom X4 9650
GeForce GTX 560 1GB
4GB DDR2
Windows 7 Pro x64
ASUS M2N-E Mobo
Enermax 620W PSU
(I guess the other components are irrelevant?)

Thanks and happy new year :)

Thanks for the advice. I have one more question, is there a way to find out how much folding is being done by the GPU compared to the CPU? I guess the CPU is only doing a tiny amount in comparison, but it would be good to know.

#20 on top producers list :D I didn't think that would be so easy. I worked out this is costing me around £16 per month after I bought an electricity monitor (running at around 320W), that's based on 7p per kWh. Does anyone here run folding on several machines? I'd like to know what kind of setup Ba has, his 24h average is 63x higher than mine lol. (and how high his electricity bill is...)
