Help with 24 pin for mob

Hi I am making some custom cables for my psui have got a full set of connectors for my ax1200 psu end but am unsure if the other end ie to connect to the motherboard it's self needs to be male or femail

it needs to be male,its a female plug/socket on the mb itself

Surely you'd have seen this when you look at your PSU? What the poster above said is correct.
