i have a old pc with a 8800gtx so the NVIDIA 3D Vision Kit should work fine, but i also a gaming rig i5 with crossfire 5850 and a xbox 360 so my qusetion is would the NVIDIA 3D Vision glasses work on my ati cards and xbox360 if not can anybody Recommend what route i should go.thanks

Aye, the 8800GTX should work fine with the Nvidia 3D vision kit - although it is a pretty old card these days and 3D is very taxing, so you are likely to only be able to play relatively old games in 3D with playable framerates.

As for crossfire 5850s and Xbox 360, unfortunately with a dual-link DVI-D 120Hz monitor like the LG W2363D, it just isn't possible to get 3D working with these devices (the Nvidia 3D vision kit does not work with them, and there is no comparable kit that will make them work in 3D with this kind of monitor).

Instead, you need a monitor/TV that supports 3D via HDMI 1.4, Displayport 1.2 or is on the compatible AMD HD3D list (for the 5850s). For the Xbox, your only option for 3D is a 3D-ready HDMI 1.4 TV or monitor.
