Help with 7990 please.

Hi all, I have a 7990 in my PC and I was just casually playing a game when my PC froze. I rebooted it only to now find that only 1 of the 2 GPU's are being detected. I have tried everything so far, switch PCI slots, reinstall drivers but the second core is not being detected at all.... has anyone got any ideas on a solution?
