Can you tell me why adaptive voltage is adding 0.05v in AVX loads?

I thought with skylake onwards it did not do this anymore?

Is there a bios setting to keep AVX and non AVX voltages the same?

AVX option in bios give you a max clock when using unrealistic instructions, to stop damage i guess. If you dont have a -2 or similar then AVX will just trash the processor cores with workloads. Its understandable it would require more volts etc.

Just reduce the max AVX multiplier to -2 or -3 and it shouldnt go any higher. However your max overclock using AVX will be 200 or 300 mhz slower.
