Help with a Acer 5735z

The girlfriend has the above laptop. However she went to turn it on and it just doesnt work. The lights come on as in power button and hdd lights. But after about 20 seconds it just goes blank also the screen stays blank threw out.

I think it might be the motherboard but not sure.

Any help would be great.

Do you get the Acer post screen at first turn on?

No don't get anything at all on the screen.

And nothing on an external monitor? If so then try one stick of memory at a time, if still no luck then it's pointing towards the motherboard.

Yeah I'll try that later thanks for tips. Hasent thought of external monitor.

I'll post later as to how it goes.

Ok well the girlfriend just called me and it seems it working she said she turned it on and it booted up and worked. WEIRD.

We shall wait and see tho.
