Help with a build please

Hi All,

Wonder if you can give me some advise please.

I currently have a gaming system with i7 9700 and DDR3 ram. I upgraded the the GPU to 3090ti 18months ago.

So today I want to upgrade the rest of the PC - Motherboard, CPU, Ram to maximise the performance for the 3090ti, but also make it futureproof for a 4080/90 next year.

AM5 is the way to go for longevity, what's your budget and do you need WiFi ?

WIFI not required - 1k no PSU, Storage or case required.

There's little point buying all those extra cores if you're just a gamer, get the 9800X3D.

Motherboard, what features do you need/want from a board?

Some of the major features that influence board price are:
- High speed LAN (e.g. 5Gb/10Gb)
- USB4
- Number of M.2 slots
- Number of PCI-E 5.0 M.2 slots
- PCI-E 5.0 graphics
- integrated DAC/AMP

2 M2 Slots, not sure about PCI-E stuff, I have a 3090ti so that will need to work. High speed LAN would be good and integrated AMP
