I’m planning to upgrade my current pc and get rid of my old set up which is a
QX9770 on a Asus Maximus II board with 8gb dd2 ram, cpu cooler is the cooler master V8 and PSU is Antec 750w, GTX570 and 2x 1TB HDD all in a cooler master storm case.
I’m planning to get the Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) with 8GB ram, The H80 for cooling and reuse as much of my old parts as possible.
I do not know which CPU I should get that will suit me. I’m looking at the 2700k and the 3570k which would be good for gaming with a overclocked to about 4.0 - 4.2.
I play games like BF3, DCS A10 Warthog, Dirt 3, F1 2012, FSX and want a set up that will last for a while without hitting my pocket hard.
Any advice would be great

Thanks
H

Ok thanks will do then so keep my CM storm case, The antec 750w true power psu, and my hard drives and gfx card.

So all i need is the CPU i5 3570k, board gigabyte z77x-d3h and 8gb ddr3 RAM. What RAM make would your recommend cosair or kingstons? also instead of the H80 what other good coolers would do for a over clock @ 4.2

so will all this be ok for my upgrade or is there anythink i could do to change
