Hi guys, started a thread like this a long time a go when finances were better but never got around to getting it done or even starting it. Life's moved on and my budget has changed. My current PC is dying a death so will be ordering the parts in the next few weeks.
I need a gaming machine for £1500 at most. Do not need peripherals or monitor. The machine needs to be powerful enough to decimate current games be as future proof as possible, I know future proof is a weird statement so I guess I mean it must be playing games on ultra/high at 1920x1080 for the next 2 years minimum.
Here is what I had together so far.
Corsair 750D
Gigabyte Z87X-SLI Intel Z87 (So I can add another card if needed)
Intel Core i5-4670k (Or wait for 4690k)
Corsair Vengeance Pro Silver 8GB
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 WindForce
Corsair Force GT 120GB
Corsair CS750M PSU
Windows 8.1 64bit.
Total £1,116.88
I have a windows 7 64bit license so im not sure 8.1 is needed. Im not sure if im really picking the most optimal parts for my price range.
Feel free to completely change the build and suggest what you would do with the £1500
