Help with a logo design

I need to create a lkogo for a website I have been asked to put togetheer. Just using a wp theme but not so good at coming up with logos. I was thinking of modifying the original theme logo and replacing the A with NG. Also looking to incorporate this crest into it as well.

Anyone willing to give it a go?
