Help with a new build

right there is no reason why any of this needs to stay in the final product so please do advice if you would change any of it, if not all of it.
i have a budget of around £1200 and I am aiming to build a decent gaming pc.
some of this might seem completely pointless, so feel free to criticise as this is my first custom and i wana make sure its all compatible.

(motherboard) Nforce 780i
(processor) Intel quad core Q9550
(ram) Corsair 4GB Dominator
(case) Antec 900 Case
(psu) corsair 750 watt
(cooler) thermalright ultra 120a
(fan) Zalman zmf3
(disk drive) lg gh22ns40
(hard drive) weston digital wd 1 ter
(graphics card) preferably the GTX295 but if not the GTX285

my main concern was whether the rest of the specs live up to the demands of the graphics card.
and im just going with the case coz it was recommended, if you know any big decent looking ones please do advise.
Also do i need any other products, i.e. arctic silver?
and any tricks of the trade you can pass of to save me the hastle.

Cheers

No ones going to give you any links to other sites, its against forum rules, OcUK are pretty good in the main anyway.
Personally Id avoid the nforce boards, also if youre spending that much money it'd be worth looking at the new i7's, this set up is slightly over & doesnt include OS, if you need a new one you'll have to add another £80 to this spec (and make sure its Vista64), you could get it within your budget quite easily by dropping the gfx card down but you said you wanted this one so Ive pushed you slightly over budget to accomodate that
