Hi there,
Looking to put my trusty old 2600K rig out to pasture, and get a nice shiny to replace it.
From what I gather, there are some compatability issues between different Ryzen mobos and ram.
Want to keep the build cost down as low as possible, but will need to include a few must haves. Will be stuck with 1080p for a few months while saving for a better monitor.
CPU - Ryzen 2700X
RAM - 16GB and hopefully at 3000mhz?
Mobo - That can take 3000mhz ram, if that's something to be concerned with.
GPU - RTX 2060 or 2070 (Or an AMD offering?)
Hard Drive - A new 500gb SSD. (I already have plenty of storage drives)
PSU - Would this need to be Gold rated?
Would also be good to know what the price to build it is. I've not done it for years.
