Right,

I sold my pc on here a while ago because it was just sitting there doing nowt but now that its gone I have found that I am constantly plugging my laptop into an external monitor, keyboard, mouse and what not.

I would like to build myself a little small form factor pc for general programming needs. I will be using the adobe suite, visual studios and simple text editing programs.

Graphics are a mute point as I only want to play the occasional game of starcraft. Main thing will be pure speed. I am looking to get a small SSD as fast as possible and it will only need to be 64gb max.

Is all of this possible for £500? If so would some lovely person please spec me a system.

Edit: Wireless N would be fantastic to have as I am using a airport extreme router.

Thanks

Slightly over but worth it imo, if you needed it cheaper you could drop the card to something like a 4650 :

Thanks matey, sounds like pretty much the build I am after. How easy is it to overclock the processor with that mobo and case?

Its really easy with this board, all you have to do is raise the FSB and voltages slightly, i know others on here have been achieving in excess of 400fsb couple that with the above processor and 4ghz should be achievable relativly easily if you have reasonable coooling.
