Hi,
Around 10 minutes ago I was sat here and decided I should reboot my system, it's not been rebooted for around 18 hours or so and I like to think that a reboot keeps it 'fresh' and responsive. However, it stalled at the bios with this error on the screen:
"CPUID:06FB Patch ID:00B3"
For around 2 minutes it just sat there, then suddenly 'memory check' appeared and it suddenly booted as I have come to expect. The system is homebuilt and 2 weeks old so there shouldn't be any problems with it as far as I can tell, it's run flawlessly in that time. So the appearance of this strange behaviour has me a little concerned.
My system spec is:
Intel Q6600 B30 SLACKR (running at 2.4)
Freezer 7 Pro
Gigabyte X38-DS5 F4 (I think the F4 is the bios revision)
Corsair 4GB DDR2
Nvidia 7800GTX
Creative Audigy II
Corsair HX 620
Can anyone tell me anything about this: "CPUID:06FB Patch ID:00B3" error, I've googled but the one reply in english that is out there ... well it's a bit techinical for me
It's here http://forum.scottmueller.com/viewtopic.php?p=1678&sid=42184b243db5fa567edc534b013590e5 in case anyone can make any sense of it.
Thank you for your help.
