Hey guys

My partner is after getting a new system and I thought asking the brains that reside here would be the best bet :D.

Budget wise she is looking to spend no more than £850, she could stretch to £1000 possibly but anything £850 or under would be fantastic.

The system itself doesn't need to be anything fancy (lights and what not) just a good powerful machine aimed at casual gaming (guild wars 2 etc) but mainly with a focus on video editing, this is the biggie as she does a lot of youtube stuff.

I am planning on getting this built by Overclockers also and so it will also need a copy of windows and the building fee included.

Thanks for any help guys. It is very much appreciated.

Thank you for the Reply Danny75. Sorry for taking so long to respond :).

Just wondering if there is much point in going for a 970 over the 770?

Cheers

The 970 is a decent upgrade on a 770 and will last longer of course.

If you can somehow squeeze a 5820k and 970 build together then you will have a fine machine that will be a video and 1080p gaming powerhouse.

Saying that, a 4790k and 770 won't be miles off.

It just depends on how much you want to spend of course.

I feel stretching the budget a little more will be worth it for the 970 and the 5820k also. Thanks McGraw. Hopefully get this ordered this week :).
