Help with a repeating virus in Opera please

Yesterday I was on a site and a porn pop-up appeared but since then I get a Virus & Protection alert and the link is always in the cache of Opera.
When I navigate to the drive the file is now obviously gone but I get this alert around every 5 minutes which is annoying.
Other than uninstalling Opera and all it's folders and re-installing any idea where I might need to navigate to stop this repeating?

Tried Malwarebytes to see if it can find and clear the file? Or perhaps CCleaner to clear the Opera cache?

What AV are you using? Can you post a screenshot of the alert?

Did you try Malwarebytes?

Windows Defender

It's just the standard Windows Virus Alert, the new problem is I can't click on it and get more details, the screen just goes off.
It gives me the folder and file location in the Opera cache when it did show

Bugger Malwarebytes used to be free.

Bugger Malwarebytes used to be free.

Malwarebytes is still free. It likes to demo the Premium version every so often but if you go to Settings and Account you can Deactivate the Premium trial.

Give the Eset online scan a go: https://www.eset.com/uk/home/online-scanner/

And the Sophos free virus checker tool: https://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/free-tools/virus-removal-tool.aspx

If they don't find anything I'd say that the thread is probably gone and Windows Defender is having nightmares! Is everything up-to-date with Windows in terms of updates for Defender?

Something has happened, even after running CC Cleaner & Malwarebytes I was still getting Virus Alerts but now they seem to have stopped.
