Hi All wonder if you can help ....

I am VERY out of date and not built a new PC for just over 3 years.

Time to bite the bullet again as I have just started a new venture at home which will mean I need to do a lot of video / photo editing and magazine creation.

I have always believed in future proofing and always used to like overclocking to squeeze out performance so thought I would do it again rather than buying ready made.

Thanks for help...

Monitor - Dell 30inch Widescreen model
CPU - Quad Core QX6700
Motherboard - Abit IN9 32X-MAX
Memory - No clue what to get, can you reccomend will get either 2 or 4 gb
GFX Card - Not sure what to get only very occasionaly play games would this work and run the 30inch ok - OcUK GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB
Case - Not sure what to get here as the pc sits in a big cupboard with the door open under my desk and holes drilled in one side - any suggestions would like some decent cooling but not to sound like a whirlwind!
PSU - any suggestions
Disk - Western Digital Caviar SE16 320GB

Thanks for your help and suggestions in advance .

Stuart

Memory - Nothing too fancy a standard PC6400 will do nicely, Corsair, Geil, G.Skill, or OCZ - your choice.

GPU - 8800GTX is the best there is if it doensn't handle 30in LCD nothing will.

PSU - Corsair HX620, selling like hotcakes, essentially Seasonic but cheaper with higher quality.

Case - How big is your cupboard? Popular onces like Antec P180, Akasa Eclipse, Lian-Li PC7, and Antec 900 are all brilliant.
