help with a spec...

im planning on building a new PC over the next few weeks,

i need basically the full tower unit, and i also need an operating system..

i want to be able to play some decent games, browse internet, a few office based programs etc.

would be nice if i can get something with HDMI so i can plug it in to my tv..

looking to spend around £550-£600 for the unit and operating system

so windows 7 home is the one to go for ?

would i have more choice / better options if i dont need HDMI? im not desprate..
