Hi guys

I have just purchased an Abit IP35 running a Q6600 and have this question.

Am i meant to attach my PSU to both the ATXPWR1 and ATX12V1 power connectors on the motherboard?

What is the latter one for?

Many thanks!

When i do this though, the system powers up for one second and then powers off again. It does this repeatedly until I turn off the power at the PSU. Any ideas why this might be?

Thanks for your response.

Sorry I should have provided that info initially. My PSU is:
Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-520HXUK)

The system does turn on, and stay on with only the 24pin power connector attached, but there is no input to the monitor. As I say, when both power connectors are attached then the system turns off immediately...

Thanks...

Thanks for your help. Connected second power lead and then reset the CMOS which has seemed to do the trick. I see other IP35 users are having difficulties with the board at the moment too.

Posting from new (first) build!

Thanks again!
