I'm having trouble with doing what should be a straight forward thing in Access 2007. I've created a relational database with 3 tables, Stock, Customers, Rentals. I want to make it so that in the Rentals table, when I select a DVD ID (Relationship created with Stock table), it then populates the name and cost fields automatically in the table. I also want to do the same with Customer ID to populate with name and address.
Ideally, I want to have it so that when I select the ID from a drop down menu in the table, it also shows the name. I managed to do this before, but again, couldn't get it to populate any other fields.
I haven't used Access since my GCSEs and I'm meant to be teaching this next week! Added to the fact that was office 2000 and I'm in a bit of a pickle!
