Help with Altec Lansing Speakers

I have the MX5021 speakers connected to the Creative X-Fi sound card. I'm getting a loud buzzing noise from the satellites & no sound. The sub-woofer is far enough away from the pc. Everything is connected correctly. I have tried changing the cables & the satellites for exactly the same type of satellites (I'm lucky enough to have 2 extra) but still the same buzzing noise occurs.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong please?

Are they new?


Im assuming you havent had problems befor....untill you installed the Altec setup?


If so id would say that there is a problem with the Sub/gubbings inside.

Yeah does sound like a problem, have you got something else you could try them on, like an xbox or something?
