My mate has dropped his PC off for me to have a look at...

I've cleaned all the componants of dust, and there was a lot of it, but the original problem is annoying me...

'No Signal' when I turn PC on.
It worked once, got to desktop, ran a ChkDsk and it said errors found can not continue.
Restarted PC, got Invalid BOOT.INI file.

Turned it off, and now when I turn it on, I get 'No Signal'...

any ideas on how to solve this issue? It's doing my head in lol

the no signal sounds like the GPU's driver has been deleted or something similar, but that doesn't explain the boot.ini

if you're using a vga/dvi port, try using an HDMI port if there is one or if you have a coverter try using a tv. They work differently and usually bypass installation errors and such on GPU's, might work

Its not the VGA connection, its the other type, and its the only type that is on there...I know its not my monitor as Im using that now on my own pc...

Do i get him a new GFX card or new HDD or what? im lost lol
