I've been sorting out my loop layout for my project here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18467916

In order to make it work I'll need a right angled fitting, I've got two from a previous build but they leaked so I ordered a bitspower one and it seems like it's going to do exactly the same thing which makes my believe they just aren't compatible with my EK barbs.

The problem seems to be that no matter how tight I try to make them the o ring remains uncompressed...

If I was to add a second o ring would that create a tight enough seal? or is there another way to remedy this?

Thanks :)

Sorry - can you clarify what fitting it is you are using and WHERE it is leaking?

I presume you are using the type which has a compression fitting at one end, and a 1/4 bsp fitting the other.

What are you connecting into? A raditiator? Reservoir? It almost sounds like the thread has been stripped off the vessel you're tapped into...

Doubleing up shouldn't cause a prob assuming they compress well, forming a seal, and don't part with side pressure. I do this on my mcw60 gpu block. Always leak test first to make sure ofcourse.

Yea, it's airtight to "as hard as I can blow" standards so it seems fine :) It's good good compression now :)

Hopefully I'll get the loop built this weekend :D
