Evening all,

Got this case https://www.overclockers.co.uk/aerocool-dryft-mini-v2-micro-atx-case-cas-aer-00607.html

(Fantastic for the money by the way!)

Trying to sort out the fans so it can be controlled via the pc.

I also have a Thermaltake AIO which is connected and absolutely fine.

Whenever I try and connect the fans from the hub included with the case to an ARGB socket on the motherboard they just flash, or if I try and change the colours with the motherboard software it doesn’t work, or change to a random pattern and not the right colours.

What am I doing wrong? Could it be the fans not comparable with motherboard or maybe just the fan controller?

To note, when I disconnect from the ARGB wire the fans work perfectly and can be changed with the button on the top of case.

Motherboard is a sapphire B650 and use their Trixx software

if i recall correctly you have to press and hold the led button to turn off the hub's integrated rgb function so that the argb connector can take over the function

Would suggest uninstall the trixx software
And see if signal rgb works

Tammzy beat me to my other suggestion
You might need certain button pressing to put
The built in led control into
Bypass mode to allow software control

I did try this, however lights just went off and nothing else happened.

Will try again and maybe hold a bit longer and try with the software suggested below.

Thanks for the input…managed to get sorted.

I turned the hub off as I had previously but the switch wire was still connected. This seemed to cause a by of haywire.

Removed said wire from the hub and solved the issue with it not syncing.

Used the rgb signal software to control it now and it’s working brilliant.

Thanks very much for your input both of you.

You're welcome mate

Not too keen on the new signal rgb UI
But it's still by a country mile the
Best rgb software out there
Still surprises me theres a free version that can
Do so much to be honest
