Hi everyone,
I've had Sky for a while (can't get fibre where I am), and was just using their standard hub.
I wanted to replace that with something better and with wider reach, while keeping it to 1 device, instead of Sky Hub + Router, so I got the DSL-AC68U a few weeks ago, managed to get the username and password to get it logging in with Sky, and got it all working.
The problem is, I now get quite a few issues when gaming online (PC), whereas before I'd get a consistent 20 ping. Most of the time it's OK, and then suddenly it goes up to 999, then back down. It'll happen a few times over a gaming session, and each lag/drop is about 2 seconds long.
I've had a look at the logs and my upstream has 0 errors, but the downstream had hundreds of thousands.
Played about with the settings and managed to lower the amount of downstream errors, but the problem is still there, even with the latest firmware.
I've seen posts with configurations for Sky Fibre, which I used to help my settings on, but the fact i'm on ADSL means I should probably be doing something else.
I was hoping someone could look at the 2 images attached and perhaps suggest why I get so many errors, and why my downstream is Interleaved, instead of Fastpath?
Would really appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks!
