I currently have a pc with the following

ASUS P5N32-E
Intel Core 2 Duo E6700
2 MB DDR2 Memory
Windows XP

I just replaced my 8800 GTX with an ATI 5870

Since installing Iam finding that the pc takes forever to boot up, with the 8800 GTX as soon as the pc was switched on the boot process began but with the ATI 5870 the compter seems to do nothing for over a minute before starting the boot process.. any ideas.

Iam also finding that navigating Windows is a slower process with the ATI.

Allthough running and playing games seems fine and much faster than my old GTX

Isn't that an Nforce mobo? Not too clued up but didn't think ATI cards would run on those boards, just AMD & Intel Boards?

Hope you get it sorted mate ;)

I should have done a bit research before i posted :p
Apparently ATI cards and Nforce boards work no probs at all

did a bit of research myself, seems that this is problem with the motherboard and there is a bios update to sort it.. whats the best way to flash the bios as i dont have a floppy and can I save the current motherboard settings.

cheers
