Hello
I had used two of the these cases mine and for a friend and neither seem to take an io shield ( from a z77 board and a 990fx) is this an intended feature or do I need use a hammer?

Thanks

The IO shield that fits into the back of your case is a standard size for any case/motherboard it just requires a bit of force to push it in. No way near as much force as you would get with a hammer, just use your hands and push it in.

It does not fit, for now I am using it without one. Also is the power button naturally disconnected in this case? I cannot start it using power button, only reset or using my old case's power button

Have you connected the front panel's header right?

Yes, all the connectors are on properly, I imagine that the power button is disconnected somehow, I'll need to take the front panel off, for now I plugged reset into power pins and it boots fine.

Are you able to provide some pictures? Hard to suss out what is wrong without looking at the problem. It could be many things. Your placing the IO shield upside down, Something it caught on case stopping it going in or the IO shield hole has burrs on it from the factory stopping it going in.

Pictures would help a lot in this case otherwise there isn't much we can do but guess and you get frustrated.

Sorry, but I don't know how to post pictures, the io shield clicks mostly in but there's always one corner which just doesn't fit.

If you take a photo and upload it to a photo hosting site such as imgur http://imgur.com/

1) on Imgur hit "upload from your computer" it will upload and give you a link to the image
2) copy that link for the image
3) On OCUK forums where you type a post hit the small button in the message box with the mountains
4) paste in the link from imgur
5) you've posted your first image.
