hi
looking for a little help with an issue i have please, with random black screen lockups.
i'm running:
asus z170 pro gaming
6600k
sapphire r9 390 nitro
win10
i had a black screen lockup a couple of months back, thought nothing of it, rebooted, carried on.
in the last two weeks it has occurred more frequently, sometimes when closing a game, and in the last few days when browsing web or watching iplayer etc. screen goes black, pc still runs, but totally unresponsive, requires restart.
i have installed latest gpu drivers, windows updated etc.
i have de-dusted the pc and graphics card.
pc has been rock solid until this issue, no other hardware changes.
i have removed gpu for periods of time, i have had no lockups without the card in the machine.
gpu purchased in april '16, from another retailer, OCUK had no stock of gpu or the case i wanted. does anyone know the warranty duration for sapphire cards please, and am i likely to have any joy with RMAing a card that appears to work fine until the random lockup occurs?
thanks in advance for any assistance..
