Hi guys,

Need some help with bootcamp please, i wanted to boot into windows 7 so choose it as the boot and restarted.

But now all i get is a white screen on boot that hangs, it wont go any further just stays on this white screen :(

What can i do to get it into windows or just back into osx?

Cheers

Ok, i managed to get into osx. At start up i held ALT,CMD,P + R (Just incase anyone else gets this problem.

But now id like to know is why wont it boot into windows? What is the correct way to boot into windows (I have it set to boot into OSX on startup)

EDIT*

I tried it by going to startup disk, clicking on Windows on Bootcamp and clicking restart

I hold down the option key as it boots and then select my OS of choice if I want to load Windows.

Cheers Feek.

I have another question now tho, I think i am finally ready to give Windows the chuck on my iMac.

I have found replacements for all the software i used on Windows, and happy with how they are all working.

So is there a way to remove the Windows 7 bootcamp partition and merge it back with the mac HDD?

Cheers

Yup, that's all done through the Bootcamp manager software, there's an option there to revert.

Well ive changed my mind........ AGAIN!

I want to go back to bootcamp with Windows 7 again so i can use steam, and also it wont hurt to just have a Windows 7 partition sitting there just incase i need it for something else.

But when i tryed this time (Went to bootcamp and set the disk space etc.)

Clicked continue and it restarted, had the chime and a white screen and that was it, it justs hangs there.

Now there is a scratch on my Windows 7 disk, so tonight im going to download a Windows 7 install disk and use my key. But could there be something else that would make it do this?
