Hi guys,
I have just bought a 700w PSU, Antec 300 case and some red 120mm fans. I did this in prep for recieving my new 4870 (which hasnt arrived yet).
Anyway i dismantled my old tower and reinstalled everything the way it was in the new case. Adding the new bits as i went. Easy enough i thought.
I turn it on and it goes through startup, gets to windows and all looks fine. I open Firefox and that starts fine. I go to start a Eve Online account and it BSOD. Ok so i must have not fitted my GFX properly i think. Open up and reseat the card. Try again. This time it crashes just as my task bar is loading. I've opened it all up and it all looks fine all the wires from the new PSU are connected and any extras are cabletied away neatly. The temps look fine and the CPU only hits 41 when its about to crash.
I'm stuck to think of anything it could be apart from the PSU as it is the only peice of hardware that i changed apart from fitting a Zalman HS i had lying around waiting for me to do a breakdown.
I cant check the BSOD message as it just restarts as soon as it flashes up.
Any ideas?
