Help with BSOD

Hi all,

What failed: ahcache.sys

This issue happens on average of around once every fortnight. Nothing specific the machine is doing, I have chrome, iTunes, and Steam open mainly.

I don't think it's software based as I've rebuilt my machine several times since and it's still occuring.

I've done memory, hard drive checks to no avail. All drivers up todate.

Event viewer doesn't hold much info.

Any ideas?

The laptop is the following spec:

Dell Inspiron 7566
4gb nVidia GTX960M
i7 cpu
16gb Ram
1TB Hdd
128gb SSD

Looking at this error it’s related to ram or HDD issues, taken from the below link

Could try running command prompt as a admin and doing sfc /scannow as this will check and repair any issues with the HDD. If this comes back ok you could try a smart check on the HDD or a scan for bad blocks.
