Hi all

not sure if this is caused by memory or graphics card or both! I have just replaced my Evga gtx470 1024mb graphics card with a Gigabyte gtx670 2048mb card.

Everything has been running fine for nearly a month but now I have an issue.
BF3 can run fine for 2 hours or freeze with a corupted screen after 2 to 15 mins. Images i have captured below;

I have tried Nvidia drivers 301.25 and the latest I believe 301.42 to no avail.

I then decided to run Memtest 86+ and after 2 hours these screens were displayed which are surely errors;

My questions are;

1. faulty memory?
2. faulty card?
3. psu power output not sufficient/faulty?

My CPU is clocked from 3.5 to 4.5 and has proved to be stable under test, so I think that this is not the issue.

Your knowledge would be greatly appreciated, as frankly I'm lost!!

Couldn't open your link to memtest result, but memory errors are an issue that needs resolving. Try backing off the overclock to rule out instability (save your profile first). I'd be very surprised if your psu was the culprit.

Thanks for the quick response mate. Is it the overclock at fault because its been running fine until I have changed the card?

If it was memory related, from my experience, your system would just blue screen so I think it's more likely to be related to your graphics card.

Who is the manufacturer may I ask ?

*edit* Nevermind just saw your sig and happens to be the same card I have!

Right ran Prime95 with multiplier at 45, failed after 6 hours of blend. Dropped multiplier to 44 and ran 12 hours successfully.

Now over to the overclocking forums to get this stable at 4.5 or even higher :)
