Hi, After looking at the stickies about builds in the forum, I am still finding it difficult to pick parts based on my funds. I am looking to build a pc primarily for gaming. I have approx £850 budget. I already have SATA optical drives and hard drives(although if I have money left, I will get a new small one).

so, I would like some help in choosing the best parts that will fit my budget. I have no clue on these things. Obviously I realise I need a really good graphics card but thats all I know. This is what I chose, going by the build tutorial I found.

Can anyone recommend anything? Am I missing some good deals somewhere?

What kind of performance or overclocking ability does the gfx card in my build have over yours? or vice-versa.
I see in the first build you have 750w PSU, and in the 2nd only 650w. Will I need that extra 100w?

Also, should I look at getting amd processor instead? It seems a lot cheaper and it is the same speed as the i5,

This is so damn confusing, how come the gtx570 has a core clock that is less than a 560??

Guys, one of my friends said I should be getting a B3 revision motherboard or something? Can somebody enlighten me?

Also, do I need to buy the thermal paste for the cpu cooler separately?

Hi again, I have already placed the order now for the build that I linked on my last reply. But now I think I may have jumped the gun! The graphics card that I got, I didn't realise it takes up 3 slots.
Will it be able to fit inside my case and not obstruct other things on the motherboard???

I also found out that the graphics card needs a 6-pin and 8-pin pci-E power connector, but that Coolermaster GX 750w power supply I got with the case says it only has 2 8-pin connectors. What am I going to do???
