Help with build

Hi all,

I'm after a bit of help with a new build. I think my systems about ready for an overhaul from the ground up.

My current spec is

XFX 4870
Core 2 Duo 2.6 OC 3Ghz
4 GB Ram

Firstly do you think its ready? Or do I wait for the next ATI GPU?

I have about £1100 to play with. Main purpose will be games (BF3, Deus Ex, Skyrim Web design and Photoshop, photo, video storage)

Please could you recommend:
CPU
Mobo (Preferably Gigabyte - never had any issues)
8GB Ram
Graphics (Preferably XFX - never had any issues)
PSU
Cooling
Hard drive - (Need 1TB of storage)
Case - (Like the look of Fractal Design Define R3 Midi or Corsair Graphite 600T Midi
Maybe raid 1

Go for the 600T (theres a project log featuring one in Project Logs) as it is good for Cable Management.
Go for an i5 2500k as people keep overclocking them to around 4.5 GHz and are still going.
Lots of people seem to be using the Gelid Tranquillo in their builds and get good temps especially for only 25£
 
You can start from this and change some of the components. I have added R3 as it is a lot cheeper than 600T and also 750W PSU so you can add second 570 later on.
