I am planning a new conroe build sometime in august
i already got a 500w enermax liberty psu off ebay brand new cheap at 50quid

now i sort of budgetted around 80 for a case and would like your opinions on the case listed below

thermaltake tsunami 70
thermaltake aguila 70
lian li pc7 plus 56.34

those are the under 75

and at the very top end of my budget and all at the same price of 82.19
akasa eclipse
thermaltake shark
coolermaster mystique 631
antec p160
antec p180 3quid cheaper

please tell me which is the best or most value for money..

thanks

Ok, re-drawing up your list for you if you do not mind:

Thermaltake Soprano (beats the tsunami)
Lian Li PC7+
Akasa Eclipse 62
Antec P180
Antec Super Lanboy

Personally I say go with the PC7+ as it offers the best value for money of any case, the Super Lanboy is just a bargain and the P180 and Eclipse are more specialised. The soprano is a better built Tsunami really, the better option of the two but worse than the Lanboy as a case.

I uploaded those for someone in another thread, some pictures of the PC7+.

If you search the forums you will see how highly rated the case is, all the cases I have listed are VERY good cases, just depends which one you like the look of for the money really.

The decission is entirely up to you when it comes to it. :)

Best case = Akasa Eclipse 62
Best built and value for money = Lian Li PC7+
Close to VFM = Lanboy.

PC7 Plus has got to be the best of the lot in terms of value for money, its only slightly superseeded by the Eclipse, but that doesnt look as nice, and offers marginally better cooling

It'd be out of the PC7 or the Eclipse if it were my money, P180 is supposed to be good, but IMO, the other 2 are better choices

Ive been wanting a p180 for ages, but i keep buying other stuff :D , they look huge and have laods of room, means air can ciruclate well. Just be sure that you power cables are long enouigh though, because the psu is right at the bottom of the case

and here i thought from the massive amounts of reviews on the net that the others that i have listed are also quite good..

see how much i know :(

so its either the pc7 or the akasa,.

the lanboy just don;t do it for me as the front plastic grill looks to i don;t know...

will have to look over at my sysems before i make a choice
