Hi all

I'm doing a system build and need help in identifying polarity of case connectors that go on the mobo.

The Power LED is 2 wires .. one green and one white
THe HDD LED is 2 wires .. one orange and one white
The Power switchs .. blue and white
Reset switch ..both grey

Plus I have two USB header connectors from the case to go to the mobo ..

each connector has five wires with the first one being black and the last one red.. which one would correspond to 'pin 1' on the mobo??

thanks in advance for the help!

Just plug em on.. If the LED's don't work then you have em on the wrong way.

The Power & reset are just trips.

USB is a different matter.

The power and reset (people bother connecting this one:confused:) are simply push to make switches and thus are not polarized so no need too worry about orientation.
LED's are polarized thus correct orientation is necessary for operation, the white cable is the common/negative and the coloured cable is positive.
