Hi
I want to centralise my media collection and then be able to stream it around the house. Now my requirements are:
-be able to stream isos, music , dvd rips. not too fused about hd streaming
-be able to simultaneously stream to a minimum of 3 pc's without no performance lost
-stream music to the gym room to a frontend that allows me to browse my whole music collection and then make playlists on the go if possible.

What kind of power would the server need to be able to meet the requirements above? Would a low power single core amd setup do?

Also anyone got any links or software/front end names that I should be looking at as don’t know how to go about doing all this.

Thanks

My single drive western digital mybook world can stream videos to my ps3 and laptop at the same time, so I think almost any NAS will do the job for you
