Help with choosing a graphics card

Looking to replace my GTX 680. My budget is £600. What card would you guys/girls recommend?

I would recommend an MSI 7970 as the price is amazing. You could otherwise wait until the new 9 series are released by ATI in Octiber. If you cannot wait, the 7990 is a great price right now. That's the equivalent of 2x 7970's @ £250.

They do run seriously hot though.

7970 is a sidegrade.

The answer depends on whether you want one gpu or more and what resolution and cpu/psu etc...

680 Sli or 780 switch sides > MSI 7990 £499.99 and it heats your house up as well in the winter.

That's to upgrade my graphics and sound. I heard the 9 series was coming out soon. So might not be a bad idea to wait and see when these are released. Maybe buy an SSD, too.
