Help with choosing a monitor

Hi I'm trying to decide if this is the monitor for me Aoc g2460pqu 24inc. I will be using it for gaming it is within my budget and looks good. This is my build which I am just picking up the last parts.

CPU. Intel i5 4670k oc
GPU. MSI r9290
Ram 8gb 1600mhz teamgroup Vulcan
Mobo. MSI z87 g45
CPU cooler. K2 mount doom
PSU. Corsair bronze 750w
HDD 1tb
Ssd 60gb with op system on
Case. Zalman z11
Fan controller. Bitenfix recon

I was wondering if my rig will benefit from a 144mhz monitor thank you.

i think any rig will benefit from a 144hz monitor. You'll certainly notice the difference in twitching fps games such as bf4 / cod / titanfall.

I'd say go for it over a 60hz monitor

This is true. Though not every rig will utilize the full 144hz. The OPs rig, however, should definitely be capable of using most/all of the extra frames depending on the games he plays.

BTW I'll be playing bf4 ,metro, rust, dayz, Elderscrolls, skyrim, shogun total war, generally mmo fps and rts
Ty for input can't w8 to start playing on a decent sized monitor with a good rig.
