Originally, I was getting the Gigabyte GA_P35C_DS3R...After reading some reviews, and reading the stability problems, I am deciding to go with Asus. However, I don't know which version. I found ASUS P5K AiLifestyle Series iP35 as well as ASUS P5KC AiLifestyle Series iP35. Am I allowed to put links for other shops so you know exactly which one I am talking about?

Help please.

Thank you.

Do not link to other shops...forum rules...depending on price if you want cheap get the plain P5K...the C is for DDR3 support...vcore damper don't work btw on these 2....if you got or going to get a Quad i would recommend the P5K-E.

Yea, excpet they are cheaper and have AiLifestyle in their names. So you guys recommend those? My CPU going to be Q6600.

Well, I am kinda over budged already (£910, that's the whole rig) And that's with the Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R...I don't want the mobo to be over £80.

ATM, it's costing me £73.99

If they are all meant to have the same OC ability, then I would go with the R version. But, if the P is more stable, then Idk.

No, I am fine. Never used Firewire before. Last question, there are two R versions, the difference is only DDR3 in one of them? God, I hate mobo.

Also, the heatsink is kinda small compared to the other versions, isn't it?

Thanks for your help.

I wouldn't worry about the northbridge heatsink. It's not going to affect anything.

If both the normal and the C versions are about the same price then get the C version, otherwise get the normal version as DDR3 isn't really viable yet and probably won't be for a while yet.
